Mary Alisa Kai Shattuck (MAKS) is a Photographer based in Colorado and working everywhere.

Growing up with a godfather who had a passion for photography, Maks started learning the art of capturing beautiful moments in nature from a young age. Since 2018, she has been taking her skills in a new direction hoping to capture the beauty in people and their everyday lives. She cherishes the opportunity to capture your special moments and has a particular passion for capturing the embodiment of love between couples, and the grace and beauty of ballet and contemporary dancers.

Working as a full-time paramedic, Maks craves every opportunity to explore her passion and art as she strives to create visually driven stories with every image for you to enjoy.

Maks has been honored to work with many talented aspiring ballerinas, and capture beautiful moments for families, couples, and individuals alike in both intimate and casual settings.
